What sorts of apartments
are available?


Everett Plaza offers 100 private studio, one bedroom, and two
bedroom suites with kitchenettes and private bathrooms. Do you offer church
services and other religious activities at the site? Yes there are regularly
scheduled services on site.

 

What is your visitor
policy?


Everett Plaza welcomes and encourages visitors including children and pets.
Visitors should be respectful of resident rights and not interfere with the
plan of care.  

Do you offer
transportation?
 

Everett Plaza does not provide transportation to doctors appointments, however,  transportation  can be arranged by the staff at Everett Plaza.

 

Do you have hair care for
residents?


Yes we have a beauty/barbershop on site.

 

How many meals are included
in the basic rental fee?


We provide three nutritious meals daily in our dining room.

 

What medical records and
histories do you keep for your residents?


The nursing department at Everett Plaza maintains private and confidential
medical records for each resident that includes medical history, physician
orders, our care assessments and care plans. These records are kept secure and
confidential at all times.

 

Is a nurse available 24
hours per day if an emergency arises?


We have nursing 7 days a week. In addition, we have a nurse on-call 24 hours per day if an emergency arises. Care team is here 24 hours a day. 7 days a week.

 

What does the basic rent
include?


The rental of the apartment, all utilities except phone and cable, 3 meals per
day, housekeeping and laundry service, and activity programs.

 

What types of activities do
you have?


Our activity director has designed a program to fit a diversity of interests.
Programs range from a daily exercise program, weekly outings, bingo, karaoke,
Wii, Pool & cards.

 

What type of financial
plans do you offer?


Medicaid is case by case. We also offer an easy conversion for those that  have a concern. We are happy to sit down with you and help you work out a financial plan.

How do I get mom to the
doctor?


We will schedule transportation for your family member to and from doctor’s
appointments.

 

What if mom wants to leave
the building?


Residents are allowed to come and go from the community.

 

What do I do if Mom's money
runs out?


Because we have a contract with the Medicaid program and we do not limit the
number of Medicaid eligible residents in our facility, the administrative staff
will direct you to the appropriate persons at DSHS, HCS to complete the
necessary paperwork and mom will stay where she is.
